I visited to the postal office to send my documents to Japan. This was the first time for me to go to the postal office, and I was confused a lot. At first, I didn’t know how to send my documents any more, I asked postal officer to send it to Japan as soon as possible. Surprisingly, you can send letters in a day or 2 days if you pay an expensive money (about $80). I wanted to send it as fast as possible, but I chose the one which you can send it in 6-10 business days. It was about $33.
When I was in Japan, I could send letters to the United States in 2000yen, so sending letters from the States to Japan was more expensive.
That’s because I didn’t know how to proceed sending process and officer didn’t hurry any more, it took about fifty minutes to finish posting my letter. In Japan, I can send letters in minutes, because there are some staffs and staffs are familiar with computer. Therefore, I was really surprised to see my watch pointing 10:50! (I went to the post office at 10:00) I didn’t have class today, so I could stand it. I decided not to go to the postal office when I am busy.
Process of sending letters
1, Pick up envelope that is for International sending, and enclose letters into it.
2, Write down addresses on the envelope.
3, Pick up USPS customs declaration and dispatch note, and write down necessary information in it.
4, Pass it to a postal staff.
5, Pay fee.

手紙を送るプロセス
1、国際送信用の封筒を受け取り、手紙を同封します。
2、封筒に住所を書き留めます。
3、USPS税関申告書を受け取り、メモを発送し、その中に必要な情報を書き留めます。
4、郵便スタッフに渡します。
5、料金を支払います。
