I went to the restaurant near my college with my Japanese friends, then ate chicken wings. That day was somehow a special day, I could buy a chicken wing $.50! I heard that ladies can drink alcohol for free! (though I ordered water. In the U.S. people under 21 cannot drink.) Chicken wings was really good. It was with BBQ sauce. I really want to eat it again.
The restaurant was a little crowded and I couldn’t get what I ordered for fifty minutes! Fifty minutes, not fifteen minutes! I got tired to waiting so a long time, but on the other hand I could have a lot of time talking with Japanese friend who are in fact my senior and who are very kind. In conclusion, I could have spent a good time.
On the menu, I found “Tipsy night”, but I could not understand the meaning until I asked my friend. It means, ほろ酔い in Japanese. I chose “Tipsy night” so that I can remember this word!
日本人の友達と大学の近くのレストランに行き、手羽先を食べました。 その日はなんとなく特別な日でした。私は手羽先を0.50ドルで買えました！ 女性は無料でアルコールを飲むことができると聞きました！ （私は水を注文しました。米国では21歳未満の人は飲めません。）手羽先は本当に良かったです。 バーベキューソースでした。 また食べたいです。
レストランは少し混んでいて、注文したものを50分間手に入れることができませんでした！ 15分ではなく50分！ とても長い間待つことに疲れましたが、一方で、実際には私の先輩であり、とても親切な日本人の友人と話すのに多くの時間を持つことができました。 結論として、私は楽しい時間を過ごすことができたでしょう。
メニューで「Tipsy night」を見つけましたが、友達に尋ねるまで意味を理解できませんでした。 つまり、日本語でほろ酔い。 この言葉を思い出せるように、「ティプシーナイト」を選びました！
